Hallo Welt, ich bin…
Philip Strothmann, geboren am 4.9.1984 in Münster. Die ersten 20 Jahre meines Lebens habe ich in Gaste, einem Ortsteil von Hasbergen bei Osnabrück verbracht. 2004 habe ich mein Abitur am Gymnasium in der Wüste gemacht und darauf folgend meinen Zivildienst bei der Stadt Osnabrück angetreten. Dort habe ich im Grünflächenamt gearbeitet und entgegen meiner Stellenbeschreibung vorwiegend Veranstaltungen und Tagungen im Umweltbereich organisiert. Während dieser Zeit war ich hauptverantwortlich für die Websiten-Gestaltung des Projekts „Lebendige Hase„. Nach dem Ende meines Zivildienstes habe ich über einen Werkvertrag an diesem Projekt noch weiter mitgearbeitet bis ich dann im Oktober 2005 in Bremen das Studium der Politikwissenschaft begonnen habe. Das 5. und 6. Semester habe ich in Paris verbracht, wo ich (wegen des Streiks der frz. Studis) 3 Wochen studiert habe und danach im Rahmen eines Praktikums für das Umweltprogramm der Vereinten Nationen gearbeitet habe. Für UNEP schreibe ich auch zur Zeit an einer neuen Strategie im Metalbereich, die in gekürzter Fassung gleichzeitig meine Bachelorarbeit war. Mittlerweiel studiere ich Öffentliches und Betriebliches Umweltmanagement an der Freien Universität und lebe in Berlin. Zur Zeit befinde ich mich in Neu Delhi, Indien und führe dort ein Projekt zum Thema E-Waste (Elektroschrott) durch 🙂

diskutiere ich trotzdem gerne über Politik oder auch gerne über alles andere 😉 Wenn ich meinen Kommolitonen damit nicht gerade auf die Nerven gehe spiele ich gerne Fussball, Squash, Billiard oder Tischtennis. Zudem versuche ich mich zeitweilig an meiner Geige 😉 Ich fahre eigentlich fast immer Fahrrad und bin gerne draußen unterwegs. Allerdings bin ich auch ein wenig Technik-Verrückt und genieße den guten Ruf des „Computer & Technik“ Spezialisten in meiner WG 😉 Mein MacBook Pro habe ich fast immer bei mir, ebenso wie mein iPhone und ohne Internet zu leben würde mir verdammt schwer fallen!

will ich NICHT Politiker werden sondern möglichst international in einer NGO (Non Govermental Organisation) arbeiten, am besten im Bereich Projektmanagment. Aber ich könnte mir auch gut vorstellen, bei einer IGO wie der EU oder der UN zu arbeiten.

guter Laune! Eigentlich bin ich fast immer gut gelaunt (was für meine Mitbewohner manchmal sicher etwas anstrengend ist) und wenn ich dann noch jemanden habe, der auch gerne durch die Gegend hüpft, finde ich das schon mal super. Wenn’s weniger sportlich sein soll, ist Schokolade auch schon mal nicht schlecht. Im Prinzip ist alles was mit Essen zu tun hat ein gutes Lockmittel 😉 Alles andere solltet ihr im Selbstversuch herausfinden!
